Walgreens rolling deals...

Important info:

*Register Rewards (RR) are coupons that print out at the register. They are good for a certain amount of $$ on your next purchase at Walgreens.

*ROLLING means that you can just keep getting free stuff over and over and over again using only the initial $$ for the first product.

*You can only get ONE RR per product in a transaction. So, if you are going to get more than one RR, you have to do more than one transaction.


Walgreens has some great free and almost-free deals this week when ROLLING RRs.

1. Joint Juice is $10 per 30 stick box, but you get a $10 RR after you pay = Free

2. VitaminSchtick by Glaceau is $2.99, but on sale for $1.99, then you get a $2 RR = Free

3. Blink Tears lubricating eyedrops are $7.99. Use the $1.50 coupon here, then get an $8 RR after you pay. You end up MAKING $1.50 on this deal!!!

4. Zicam Cold sore Gel Swabs are $10, but there is a $3 peelie on the box. Use that, pay $7.00, and get a $7 RR = FREE

NOTE: You can do these deals as many times as you want, but if you use a RR on the same product that you got it for, you won't get another one. In other words, you can buy the Blink and the Vitaminschtick with the Joint Juice RR and the other way around, but you can't buy another Vitaminschtick with the Vitaminschtick RR and expect to get another one. ...trust me... ;o)

You CAN do this for $10 out of pocket:

1. Buy 1 Joint Juice for $10, get a $10 RR.

2. Buy 1 Blink Tears $7.99 AND 1 Vitamin Schtick $1.99 AND 1 Valentine plastic cup .33 cents as a filler (use the in-ad coupon and get it for .13 cents) = $10.11 Use the $10RR from the first transaction, plus get $8RR and $2 RR.

then

1. Buy 1 Joint Juice using the $8RR and the $2RR = get a $10 RR.

2. Buy 1 Blink Tears AND 1 Vitamin Schtick AND 1 Valentine plastic cup using the $10RR = get $8 and $2 RR.

Do this again and again, and you are ROLLING!!

Cheap Water at Smith's with mega deal

Smith's is still having their MEGA deal right now. You must buy 10 items from the large list of items, and you end up getting $5 off at the register - which amounts to .50 off per item. BUT you must buy in quantities of 10. Not 10 of the same item, but 10 items off of the list.

ANYWAY, here is how the cheap water works:

Buy 4 Arrowhead 24 pk water bottles ($3.49 each = $2.99 after the Mega deal discount) and get 2 free 6pks using 2 of THIS coupon. You will also get a $5 catalina (a coupon that is good on your next purchase at Smiths). This makes the water bottles $6.96 for all 6 items, or about .06 cents each.

Keep in mind, you'll need 6 other items from the list, like post cereal, mac n cheese, cream cheese, Nabisco crackers, Capri Sun, etc for this to work. Go get some coupons here

*you can also use the cheese coupon from that last post to buy some Kraft shredded cheese that is included in the Mega deal.

You can always price-match at Walmart.

This week Buylow has Western Family 2lb cheese bricks on sale for $3 each, which translates to $1.50 lb. Print off the "$1 off any 2lbs or more cheese" coupon from here and take the Buylow ad with you. (If you don't have one, you can print it here just click the download button.) Have Walmart match the price. (They will match store brand for store brand.)

End result: get 2lb cheese bricks for $2 each, which translates to $1 per lb.

**remember to always print the coupons twice.
