Two cool uses for cardboard boxes!

When you actually get in to this whole coupon/stockpiling thing, you find that your previous storage solutions might work so well any more.   If you are cramped as it is, stockpiling might not seem like an option.  BUT, here are some ideas - cheap ones - to help with a lack-of-storage  situation.

Idea #1

Have you ever seen those awesome can rotating storage units?   Useful, yes! Affordable... at $35 each, for me, no.  BUT, check out this cool little vid.  This gal has a handy husband (a commodity I am a bit short on lately, but I'm sure I can do this!), who has figured out how to MAKE can rotators using cardboard boxes.  SWEET, buddy!!

Here's a link to the directions for making them.  In that pix they are the off-white boxes you can see on the 2nd and 3rd shelves.

Idea #2

This is a pix from couponer Meghan.  She said, "It is double ply cardboard boxes that we got from the pet store (they were going to through them away) the flaps are cut off, and just stacked on their side." HOW COOL IS THAT????

Thanks  KCL

I hope some of you can use these ideas!

Games for a quarter!

(...and ya, I can't figure out how to turn this pix around this morning.  lol)

I found these at Target last night.  The price is $5.24.  Inside each game box is a coupon worth $5.  So, I pulled the coupon out and used it to buy the game... making the cost of the game .24 cents!

I bought six.  (I know...)   Maggie gave one to her 3rd grade teacher for a Valentine's gift today.
